Privacy policy for WristPet

1. Overview

WristPet is an iPhone and Apple Watch app from Tengri Vertex LLC ("Tengri Vertex", "we", "our", or "us"). It keeps a local copy of your pet-care data and, after Apple verifies WristPet Pro and iCloud is available, can synchronize the household through Apple CloudKit. We do not operate a custom WristPet account or data server.

We do not use your WristPet data for advertising, third-party tracking, analytics, artificial intelligence training, or sale. Apple processes data when WristPet uses Apple services described below.

2. Data you add or create

• Pet profiles and the pet photographs you choose.
• Household member display names and the iCloud membership needed to share a household.
• Completed walks, including start and end times, the caregiver, route points and calculated distance when Location is available.
• Care schedules, notes and observations you record, including toileting and accident logs.
• Preferences such as goals, reminders, quiet hours and onboarding state.
• Purchase entitlement status supplied by Apple StoreKit.

3. Local storage and Apple services

• CloudKit and iCloud sharing. This is a WristPet Pro feature. After StoreKit verifies Pro and an eligible iCloud account is available, WristPet synchronizes pet profiles and photos, completed walks and routes, schedules, household members, care notes and observations in a private iCloud household. The owner can invite caregivers through Apple's CloudKit sharing controls. Apple provides an iCloud user record identifier so the app can associate household membership and changes with the correct participant.
• WeatherKit. During an active walk, after Location supplies an accepted coordinate, WristPet may send that coordinate to Apple Weather to request current conditions. If Apple Weather does not return a usable attributed result, WristPet stores no weather value for that walk.
• Apple Watch connectivity. WristPet sends a compact pet and walk context, including the selected pet photo, to your paired Apple Watch so the watch app and complications can work.
• Photos. Choosing a profile photo uses Apple's system photo picker, which returns only the item you select. If you explicitly choose to save for a Photos watch face, WristPet asks for read/write Photos access to find or create the named WristPet album and add the pet photos you selected without duplicating them. Exported copies remain in Photos until you remove them there.
• StoreKit. Apple processes purchases and returns signed transaction and entitlement information. Tengri Vertex does not receive your payment-card details.
• Notifications. If you enable a reminder, WristPet asks for notification permission and schedules alerts through Apple's notification services. Silent CloudKit update notifications may be registered without showing alerts or requesting visible-notification permission.

4. Location

WristPet requests Location when you start a walk. During an active walk it uses background-capable location updates to draw the route, calculate distance and request current conditions from Apple Weather. Route points are stored with the completed walk and can synchronize through your private iCloud household. You can deny Location and still record walk time and manual observations, but the route, distance and weather may be unavailable.

5. What Tengri Vertex does not do

• WristPet has no advertising framework or third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• We do not sell your WristPet data or use it for targeted advertising.
• We do not use pet photos or care records to train artificial-intelligence models.
• WristPet does not request Contacts, microphone, or camera access.

6. Retention and deletion

Settings includes Erase this device, which deletes WristPet's local pets, walks, routes, care details, app-managed photos, settings, widget data and paired-Watch copy, and cancels app reminders. It deliberately pauses iCloud reconnection so the prior household is not silently restored.

A device-local erase or app deletion does not necessarily delete the private iCloud household, other participants' copies, Apple's purchase record, device backups, or photos already exported to the Photos app. Manage a shared household through Apple's iCloud sharing controls and remove exported photos in Photos. WristPet cannot delete another participant's copy for you.

7. Security and children

WristPet relies on Apple platform protections for app-private storage, iCloud, purchases and transport. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your Apple Account and devices protected. WristPet is a general-audience pet-care utility and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Your privacy choices

• You can deny or later change Location, Photos, and notification access in Apple Settings. Features that require a denied permission will remain unavailable or work in a reduced mode.
• You can manage invited caregivers with Apple's iCloud sharing controls and use Erase this device in WristPet to remove the local copy and pause iCloud reconnection.
• You can remove photos previously exported by WristPet from the Apple Photos app.
• WristPet has no custom account or developer-operated data server, so Tengri Vertex cannot look up, export, or remotely delete the private app data stored on your devices or in your iCloud household.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and describe current data handling before a changed app version is released.
